Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs were on very different pages during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All part 1, and viewers are now doubting the Russian dancer’s readiness to be a mother. In addition to her marital problems, Julia admitted that her beloved German Shepherd, Simba, wasn’t living with the couple at their new apartment because the dog was unhappy there and cried at night. 90 Day Fiancé fans are now questioning how Julia can have a child if she isn’t willing to wake up at odd hours to tend to her beloved dog.
While Julia and Brandon were in a bad place, Julia made it clear that she absolutely loves Simba. That made it even more confusing to audiences and Julia’s co-stars why she wasn’t trying harder to live with Simba. Julia also received plenty of flack for her insensitive reaction to her father-in-law’s news that he was in poor health. Brandon was almost in tears, but a cold Julia seemingly rolled her eyes as her in-laws, Betty and Ron, called in and discussed Ron’s health issues. The older couple also offered to pay the downpayment on a home next to the family for the younger couple, though Julia refused the offer. Meanwhile, Julia voiced she is ready to have children even though Brandon is determined to wait.
Some viewers took to Reddit to discuss if Julia was ready to have a child, given her inability to make things work with Simba. Many viewers were confused as to how Julia could think she is ready to have a baby if she can’t get up to walk her dog in the middle of the night. Others were further confused as to how Julia could leave her beloved “son” at the farm since she notoriously cannot stand being there herself. “I love him Sooo much ! …. He go live on farm,” one joking commenter wrote. However, others seriously doubted if Julia was ready for motherhood, especially since both she and Brandon are considered late bloomers when it comes to being independent and mature.
This isn’t the first time Julia has been accused of having a warped perspective. She previously wanted to move to expensive Las Vegas, despite her husband being the sole provider for the couple. Many viewers now think Julia is underestimating the difficulty of having a baby, especially since her family is in Russia and she doesn’t want to rely on her in-laws for any support. “Julia wants a baby because she was raised to think no relationship is official until you have one, not because she is ready for one,” one commenter speculated. Others added that Julia came across as naive at times, and that Brandon is correct in wanting to wait to have a child.
Unfortunately, Brandon and Julia’s marriage is also not in the best place at the moment. Some fans have urged Brandon to leave Julia due to the shockingly unsympathetic way she reacted to his father’s health scare. Many viewers think Brandon should accept his parents’ offer for a down payment on a home, as that would be a mature financial investment. Being near his parents and on their family farm is important to Brandon, which means that he just might not be compatible with Julia since she hates it there. Many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers are questioning if the young couple can make things work in the long run.
