Players looking to unlock every achievement in Cookie Clicker on Steam will need to know about the secret achievements as well. These hidden achievements can’t be seen in the stats tab until they’re completed, meaning players may have some difficulty doing them without some guidance.
There are a total of 16 hidden achievements in Cookie Clicker so far, and these are significantly harder to complete than regular achievements. Here’s every secret Steam achievement in the game, and how to complete it.
In Cookie Clicker, hidden achievements are called Shadow Achievements. These achievements are described as “either unfair or difficult to attain,” and require much more effort to unlock than other achievements. These 16 achievements do not count towards a player’s Milk percentage and do not appear unless completed.
The 16 available Shadow Achievements in Cookie Clicker vary in difficulty and time taken to complete. Here’s the name of every Shadow achievement, and how to unlock it.

Last Chance to See: Burst the near-extinct shiny wrinkler.
So much to do so much to see: Manage a cookie legacy for at least a year.
Gaseous assets: Have your stock market profits surpass a whole year of CpS ($31,536,000).
While many of the Shadow Achievements are self-explanatory, some may take some more thinking. For example, players must use debug mode cheats to earn the “Cheated cookies taste awful” achievement. This can be done by opening the game’s console (this is done in different ways depending on the system used) and entering Game.cookies = Game.cookiesEarned + <amount>; as the code.
Completing these achievements doesn’t contribute to the player’s Milk percentage in Cookie Clicker; however, the prestige alone may be enough for players to want to work toward beating them. By the time players reach the “So much to do so much to see” achievement, it’s likely they’ll have unlocked plenty of Shadow Achievements already.
