The post-season of Love Island USA season 3 has been extremely eventful, so here’s a round-up of all the biggest news that fans are talking about this week. Last week’s informal season 3 reunion in New York City looked like a great time for all the islanders who were in attendance. In turn, Aimee Flores skipped the Love Island USA reunion and later explained why. Meanwhile, fans are now learning about what really went down before, during, and after that trip.
Some fans are still wondering how strong Korey Gandy and Olivia Kaiser’s relationship really is. The couple hasn’t been together in a little while, but they’ve been constantly exchanging compliments and being supportive of each other online. Just like Josh Goldstein and Shannon St Claire, Will Moncada and Kyra Lizama have been inseparable since leaving the villa, making it clear that they’re stronger than ever. They’ve been posting numerous pictures and videos together on Instagram.
Speaking of couples that are doing well outside the villa, Love Island USA favorites Cinco and Cashay Proudfoot have shared lots of adorable posts together on social media. They spent a long time together between Cash’s days in Virginia and their extended weekend in NYC, so the fans are feeling confident that this couple is going the distance. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about a few other couples that came out of this season.
Some viewers had a hard time rooting for Jeremy Hershberg throughout his journey on the show. However, Jeremy undoubtedly gained a lot of momentum after he met Bailey Marshall in the villa. In fact, many fans campaigned for Jeremy and Bailey to place high in the grand finale. Alas, Bailey and Jeremy have now broken up. Bailey said that Jeremy seemed different in New York City. They then had a conversation where Jeremy confessed to having feelings for someone else. So, that relationship is definitely over now.
This was a pretty confusing week for fans who ship Aimee with Wes Ogsbury. Despite the fact that they only had a few days together in the villa, Aimee and Wes hit it off right away and left the show together as a couple. In fact, they seemed inseparable since their elimination, at least up until this week. Aimee started out this week by unfollowing Wes on Instagram and deleting all his pictures from her grid. In a shocking turn of events, however, Aimee followed Wes back a few days later, backtracking on whatever happened between them earlier in the week.
The most heartwarming news story of the week came from Cash. An Instagram follower asked the Love Island USA star if there was any reason why she couldn’t grow long hair. Cash wrote a beautiful response explaining that she could grow long hair but made a conscious decision to shave her head. Cashay talked about the pressures of maintaining her long hair and revealed that she’d always feel legitimately bad whenever her hair didn’t meet a standard that she had in her mind. Little did she know it back in the day, but Cash’s shaved head on Love Island USA would go on to inspire many women going through similar struggles.
This was also a huge week for Korey, but it had nothing to do with his personal life or his post-season relationship with Olivia. “What the freak” became a popular catchphrase for Korey during his time on the show, and the islander is now capitalizing on it. This week, Korey officially launched his new clothing line, What The Freak, where he is selling branded merch such as t-shirts, crop tops, and bandanas. Korey has made it a point to say that the What The Freak products were “locally sourced” and that all designs were created from his home in Virginia Beach. Overall, Love Island fans are excited about Korey’s company.
All things considered, this was quite a big week for Love Island USA season 3 fans who are keeping up with these islanders after the show. Interestingly enough, most of this week’s big news were pretty unexpected. Hopefully, this post-season era will keep being this exciting.
