During a newly released trailer for the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent is heard telling someone that Scheana Shay’s fiancé, Brock Davies, is not in contact with his kids. Scheana has always had a hard time finding love during her time on the show. Early on in the show, she married her longtime boyfriend Michael Shay and thought she had found her happily ever after. However, not long after the wedding, she found out about her husband’s addiction to prescription medication, and the two got divorced. After she finalized her divorce, Scheana was in a few relationships that didn’t work out, no matter how much effort she put into making it work. Most notably, she bought her boyfriend Adam an Apple Watch and a penguin, only for him to call her clingy and ghost her.
After kissing a few frogs, it seems like Scheana finally found her prince in Brock Davies. When season 8 ended, Scheana was single and not on good terms with some of her cast members. Shortly after filming wrapped on that season however, she met Brock, and the rest is history. Soon after confirming their relationship, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram, and shortly after that, they announced they were expecting their first child together. This being her second marriage, Scheana is being more careful going into it, especially since there is now a child in the mix. In late April, Scheana gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Summer Moon Honey Davies.
Lala Kent is now accusing Brock of having no relationship with his other kids, claiming he has no contact with them. As reported by Page Six, Brock has two children from a previous relationship, a son named Eli and a daughter named Winter. Lala is heard in a recent trailer for Vanderpump Rules season 9 claiming Brock has had no contact with his kids for the past four years. A source close to the couple told Page Six that the statement is not entirely true and that the situation is not as simple as Lala made it out to be. According to the source, Brock’s kids live in Australia, and the COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult for Brock to travel there to see them. They say there is more to the story than what is seen in the short trailer, and fans will get a better understanding of his situation when they are able to watch the season.
This isn’t the first time Brock has had to open up about the relationship between him and his oldest two children. In June 2020, he responded to a Reddit post about his kids by posting the thread on his Instagram. At the time, he said he is doing everything he could to be a part of his kids’ lives but assured fans that they are doing just fine. He acknowledged his kids are in the best hands possible, saying they have an amazing mother and a great stepdad who take care of them. Scheana stood by her man, saying he shouldn’t have to defend himself against people who don’t know him. She has said she hasn’t met his two older children yet, due to the Coronavirus, but she hopes to meet them before their wedding.
With the new season of Vanderpump Rules approaching, fans are quick to wonder what the relationship between Scheana and Brock looks like. This will be the first time fans will get to see the couple on TV together. It will be interesting to see Scheana with a new man and as a mother this season. She was in a bad place with other cast members at the end of last season, most notably Stassi Schroeder, so it will be interesting to see if motherhood has softened the relationship between them. This season is sure to look different than the ones before, as they’ll likely be substituting Pinot Grigio for baby formula.
